About
Hi! My name is M. Sean McGee, CCIE #18040, and I’m based in Austin, TX. I’ve been working as a Consulting Systems Engineer for Cisco’s Unified Computing System Architecture Team since March of 2009. Prior to joining Cisco, I spent ~11 years at HP/Compaq and held many positions – from 3rd level support for the networking products division to network product architect for HP’s BladeSystem Global Business Unit (engineering). During my time at HP, I participated in the design, patenting, and development of several network products and technologies such as HP’s NIC Teaming technology, HP’s blade switch product portfolio for HP BladeSystem e-Class, p-Class, c-Class, and HP’s Virtual Connect and Flex-10 product lines.
